Bio:

Elena Cattardico (1997) is an Italian Freelance Dancer, Choreographer and Producer based in Dresden, Germany. 


She graduated at Area Jeune Ballet - junior company and higher formation - in Geneva, (Switzerland) in 2020.


She then joined Tanz Theater Pforzheim (Germany), for the season 2020/21, under the direction of Guido Markowitz and Damian Gmür.


Since August 2021, Elena started freelancing in Germany and abroad, by working - among others - with Damian Jalet, Damian Gmür, Kinsun Chan, Wang Ramirez Company, Katja Erdmann-Rajski.

Currently she is working with the Landesbühnen Sachsen (Radebul, Dresden), as a guest dancer, under the direction of Natalie Wagner.

In addition to her dance pathway, she studied Disciplines of Arts and Communication at distance, with University of Pisa (Italy). Currently she's attending a Master in Management of Cultural Assets and Activities at La Sapienza of Rome (Italy).


Choreography:

Elena's first creation, dates back to 2016: "Corrispondenze", piece for seven people which won the first prize at International Choreographic Competition Fernando Alonso, in Havana (Cuba);

"In the Country of Last Things: Chapter I":  duet created in July 2022 (Savona, Italy) so far it has been selected for:

  • Creator, Promoter and Choreographer of "SHARING WORKS" event: Chapter I and Chapter II of the trilogy as a work in progress (Stuttgart, Germany, 13rd May, 2023)

  • "FRINGE THEATER FESTIVAL" (Trier, Germany, 14th May, 2023)

  • "13th DANCE DAYS CHANIA" (Chania, Greece, 1st August, 2023)

  • "SHORTIES" (Showcase of Performing Arts in Stuttgart, Germany, 17th October, 2023)

  • "LANGE NACHT" (Festival at Kulturzentrum Tempel Karlsruhe, Germany, 10th-11st November, 2023)

"In the Country of Last Things: Chapter II": solo-work created in occasion of the Creative Residency - coaching at 'Biennale Internationale de la Danse en Cote d'Ivoire' (Abidjan, Africa - September, 2023).
